How does it work?

How does an EFT session work?
- 1We identify the problemYou come with an issue, such as anxiety or stress in specific situations like public speaking, arguments with your partner, work-related stress, etc.
- 2We evoke the feelingThrough visualization or recalling the specific situation like an argument with your partner or a work presentation, we bring up the associated emotion/feeling in the present moment.
- 3We do the tappingI will guide you to gently tap with your fingertips on several key acupuncture points on your body while you repeat phrases that describe the current feeling (e.g., “This anxiety when I have to speak at a meeting”).
- 4We observe the changeWith each round of tapping, the intensity of the feeling usually decreases or completely disappears.
- 5The resultThe change is typically long-lasting. Once we fully clear the specific memory or image connected to that emotion, it shows up in your everyday life. For example: Your partner’s behavior no longer triggers you so strongly, you feel more confident at work, or you speak more calmly in front of people.
The entire process for one specific issue usually takes 20–40 minutes.
